What We Do
Mimic Media uses a process to create a quality assurance plan for Information Technology services. This process moves organizations away from the unpredictability of break-fix, to a state of continuous monitoring. This monitoring enables support personnel to respond to detected events and minimize the impact of a service outage. Managed Services reduces IT costs, improves availability, reliability and security of IT systems.
Mimic's Process
1. Explore: We use our tool kit to scour your system and network. This will show us what is happening within the environment. We can then determine what is happening in the organizations network and the state of information technology.
Actions - Monitoring of internal and external IT systems.
Inputs - Detected events and performance data.
Outputs - Email, text alerts and system behaviour baseline.
2. Plan: With your help we determine where the organization wants to be and develop a plan to get there. This is about what your ideal interaction with computer systems or, "IT in a perfect world". Your business needs and constraints will guide the scope, time and budget of this plan.
Actions - Consultation with stakeholders, needs assessment and development of a collaborative IT plan.
Inputs - Alerts, reports and variance from system baseline aligned with business needs and future plans.
Output - IT plan acceptable to stakeholders including specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely objectives.
3. Fix: We will rebuild your network system according to the needs of the business, the risks associated with required change,s and the constraints imposed by your individual situation.
Actions - A list and priority of IT improvements to meet the desired performance level identified in the IT plan.
Inputs - The IT plan and analysis of the current verses desired state of the IT systems.
Output - A stable, secure environment with an optimal baseline of performance.
4. Watch: Network environments are always changing. New files, new users, new programs, new threats. By monitoring the health and status of every IP enabled piece of technology on a continual basis, Mimic can determine when problems are starting. Making small changes over time, such as automated patching and updating, will prevent a great network from going bad.
Actions - Continuous monitoring and reporting against the desired level of performance.
Input - Completed remediation plan.
Output - Systematic monitoring and evaluation for IT systems, reduction in costs, improvements in availability, reliability and security.
